Honest Tea Just Green Tea Redesign

I’m surprised this didn’t make the front page of the New York Times, but Honest Tea redesigned the look of their Just Green Tea.

The new design is on the left. As you can tell, there’s a larger emphasis on the brand name with a larger ‘T’ and logo. I think the yellow-ish background is probably more catching to the eye. On the other hand, the ‘Unsweetened’ text on the top is more condensed, which I have mixed feelings about.

As for the taste, it’s just as refreshing. They just need some new quotes…

I drink a lot of Honest Tea at work. Just Green Tea is my favorite and I’ve been collecting their bottle cap quotes for over a year. I’ve compiled what I believe is a complete list of their quotes, now available as it’s own page on my blog. Check it out and feel free to leave a comment if you find any more.

I hope some folks who work at Honest Tea find the page and are inspired to add new quotes to their bottle caps.

Obama Drinks Honest Tea!

The New York Times ran a story about Obama’s personal aide, Reggie Love, who makes sure Obama has everything he needs for his day to day. As the Times notes, Love says that Obama “likes MET-Rx chocolate roasted-peanut protein bars and bottles of a hard-to-find organic brew — Black Forest Berry Honest Tea. [Love] keeps a supply of both on hand.”

Yay! As many of my coworkers know, I absolutely love Honest Tea :) Although my favorite by far is their “Just Green Tea” bottle, Obama has excellent taste in Black Forest Berry Honest Tea. Yet another reason to like Obama.
