Success in Napa
How do you define success in Napa? If you define it by wine purchased, I’d say we did well! Thanks for a friend of a friend having an awesome wine special, we picked up 12 cases of wine, plus some bottles of wine from Grgich and Cakebread, the latter being my perennial favorite Chardonnay of all time. It barely fit in the car and I had to put a few cases underneath the trunk covering.

Besides wine purchasing and two quick tastings, we stopped at Bouchon to try out their macaroons. Honestly, a bit overrated but now I can say I’ve been there:

We also stopped at SF Japantown to briefly walk around the Cherry Blossom Festival:

that’s a lot of wine, nice work! certain things at bouchon are tasty, but some not so much ..!
