UC Davis Picnic Day
I went along with the UC Davis peeps to their Picnic Day. We really didn’t have a picnic, but in my view, it should really just be called UC Davis Dog and Wushu Day, since those were the two things I ended up watching. The dog shows were AMAZING though; it was worth the drive just to see that.
My favorite photo of the afternoon:
Photographing jumping dogs is pretty hard – I moved back and forth between tracking the frisbee and the running dog, with mixed results. I ended up following the dog and hoping auto-focus would capture the dog instead of the crowd behind (the latter was more common). Thankfully a few pictures turned out – events like these make me want a dog. However, today I saw my coworker’s dog take a dump outside after lunch and remembered that you gotta clean up for these guys too.
We also attended a Doxie Derby race,
