There’s a first time for everything
Went home sick around 9:45AM today. As I drove home, I realized it was the first time I’ve taken a sick day in my mere 3 years of working full time. In the past, I’ve stuck out coughs/headaches, etc, but today I decided to be a little more cognizant. I slept for most of the afternoon and viola, I feel a lot better. Hopefully I can make it to work tomorrow.

We’ve been working on how to build better doctor-patient relationship in our clinical skills classes, especially the “how to show proper empathy” part. Is it working???
