A zero inbox…for a bit
So happy! Jan 31st to Feb 12th I’ll be spending my first time in South America, going on a 10 day cruise around the Galapagos Islands with my parents and their doctor friends. The other days will be spent in Quito, Ecuador. This is my first long vacation since I started work (the longest # of days I’ve taken off since working is 3) and better yet, I will not be checking email.
Although my life is centered around technology and being connected to the Internet, I must say I’m most excited about getting away from it all for a while. I left work with a 0 inbox for the first time in awhile. We’ll see how many emails I’ll have to deal with when I get back – hopefully I’ve given enough advance notice that I’ll only have to catch up on what’s been done, and not offer my own responses to no more than a few dozen emails.
Adios! And I’ll definitely be sharing pictures when I return.
