Banana Bread!

In our ongoing quest to make delicious food, Kolina and I made banana bread this week. With some ripe bananas lying around and Kolina’s roommate having a giant 1 liter bottle of honey (!) we decided to go with this recipe from Bon Appetit.

What’s nice about banana bread is that it’s really easy to make. Just combine some dry ingredients together, mix up some bananas, eggs and oil, and pop it in the oven. What made this recipe especially nice was that the honey made it really sweet and the cinnamon sugar topping added a nice flavor.

I think I’ll continue to make banana bread whenever I have a chance, but in the future I want to try adding different ingredients – chocolate chips, nuts, blueberries, or even coconut!
