Food, Work, and Football in Dublin

It’s been three full days of work in Dublin which is surprisingly to me since the days have been really long. Lots of meetings, back to back to back to back. Unlike working in India, I am a lot happier that the 8hr time difference makes video conferences with Mountain View a lot easier than the times I was in India. Instead of staying until 11:30PM, I’m here until 7PM. Someone honestly needs to tell people in Mountain View to show up earlier for the sake of the people in India. At least I would if it’s a meeting I organize.

So, like I’ve heard before, Dublin is ridiculously expensive. Guess how much this bowl of pho cost?

From Dublin

15 euros = $21 usd (!!!)

Now how about this?

From Dublin

Free! It’s sushi at work and oh how I missed it.

Not sure what’s up with the artwork here, but this view is a few minutes near the office and where I stay:

This evening I watched Barcelona capture the Champions League with a win over Manchester United at a local pub with some members of the team. It’s a shame that football isn’t that popular in the United States.

Well, just a few more days that I’m abroad before finally coming back to the United States. Although I love being abroad, I think I am ready to go home and sleep in and have a few days of doing nothing. And by nothing I mean having to train for my Tour de Cure bike ride on June 14th.
