Homestretch (Days 29-30)
Down to my final full week in the office, meaning I’m trying to work and play hard. At work it has been plenty of meetings and trainings to wrap things up before I head back to Mountain View. I’ve been trying to make the most of my evenings by going out to local restaurants. On Monday I met up with Vik a classmate who lived in the same Freshman dorm as me for dinner at Barbeque Nation. We stuffed ourselves silly with prawns, chicken, and veggie skewers while catching up and talking about our experiences working abroad (he just began working for a start-up in July). I also went to Mebaz to try on the shirts and blazer they fitted for me last week – not to set any expectations or anything, but the blazer is going to be piiiimp.
Tonight was an amazing meal at Sahib Sindh Sultan in City Centre with Josh, Vignesh, Jayan, and Rohit. The decor is the major selling point of the restaurant – you can sit in a luxury train car that recreates the experience of the first Indian train to run from Bori Bunder to Thane in 1853:
