Last Week and Traveling
Recap of last week:
- Attended a conference re: online communities. Met with colleagues from other global offices.
- Ate everything I knew I’d miss
- In-n-Out
- Gooyi Gooyi
- BBQ ribs from Chili’s
- Thursday potstickers from Charlie’s
- Watched The Office (which featured Orbit Baby, the company where my housemate Wilmot works!)
Traveling:
- Slept a bunch on the flight to Frankfurt. Kept myself mildly amused by watching “Made of Honor”
- Delayed for 1.5 hours at Frankfurt and slept again on the flight to Hyderabad.
- Caught a glimpse of the Black Sea:
- Got hassled at customs for bringing my camera in. They thought I was going to leave the camera here
- Walking out of the airport was a trip – feeling the weather, seeing so many people and finally driving back at 2AM felt pretty surreal. There’s a lot of construction in Hyderabad, so dodging around random barriers and uneven roads was fun (terrifying?).
- Finally got into my flat at 4AM…whew!
