Personalized Ringtones
I recently misplaced my cell phone and got some Samsung refurbished cell phone to tide me over until Android releases their phones later this year. I’ve happily discovered that the phone does have Bluetooth, which allows me to send over short audio clips to set as ringtones for specific callers. How do I do this? It’s quite simple, really. Head on over and download Audacity, an open-source audio program that let’s you easily import audio and splice it however you want. You can easily add a fade-in and fade-out as well. Then, send that clip over to your phone and viola, ringtones for your friends! I already set a few up for folks kind enough to give me their numbers for my new phone. If you want a specific ringtone when you call me, let me know!
