This site’s on fire?
I spent a little bit of time doing some small changes to my site. You may notice that I’ve embedded a feed of my shared Google reader items. I hope it encourages others to use Google Reader since I am always looking for more people to share items with.
Also, I added Feedburner to my site. I’m not sure how this is going to help this blog’s publicity, but it was a quick 5 minute update, which may or may not help my blog reach a wider audience. If you haven’t set-up Feedburner, just check out this Google Help Center article, which explains how to set-up Feedburner, if you self-host a WordPress blog. It’s honestly a breeze:

Enjoy!
I’ve recently started using Feedburner as well. I’m not using it to promote my feed, but I am using it for statistics, since it’s a lot easier than scouring my server logs myself for feed downloads. It’s especially useful for tracking how many people download my podcast, since iTunes doesn’t provide that information to publishers.
