Omg Ommegang
Tonight, I am a happy man. Not only did Kansas win the men’s NCAA basketball championship, but I had a wonderful 750ml bottle of Ommegang beer to amuse me during the entire game. I was first introduced to this wonderful beer during a visit to aziza, a Moroccan San Francisco restaurant that I highly recommend. Ommegang is a Belgian inspired brewery located in Cooperstown, NY (also known for the Baseball Hall of Fame). I’m not sure what’s up with the name, but I don’t care. Ever since my two separate visits to aziza, I’ve been craving this wonderful beer (which also packs a punch at 8.5% alc/vol). Thankfully, my friendly neighborhood Bev-Mo! carries this wonderful concoction. Imbibing this beverage is pure bliss. If they only carried it in more places….
ohhhh sheeit…I’m gonna have to get this one at my next Bevmo trip.
If it’s from NY, it has to be good.
