When Shipping A Package Goes Horribly Wrong
For my birthday, I bought myself a digital camera. There was a free memory card that came with the purchase, which I happily accepted. Both packages were shipped separately, so I got my camera a few days ago. But, my memory card was shipped the day after the camera and it still hadn’t arrived after 3 additional days. So, out of curiosity, I logged into my Amazon.com account to track the package. Here’s what I saw:
So yeah, a mis-sort by the carrier led to this package not getting to me in Mountain View, yet. But, check out the locations this memory card has traveled to. Ironically, it’s actually moved FURTHER away from me in the past few days:
Sadly, the initial arrival into Union City was the closest my package has been to Mountain View. Even worse, I live in East Palo Alto, right across the Dumbarton bridge from Union City. Shame on you, Amazon.com.
