Fooding Weekend
March 24th, 2008 | by Reid |Plenty of good food was consumed this weekend:
- Thanh Long - roasted crab and garlic noodles from the An Family’s secret recipe. Apparently they only let close relatives in the kitchen when making the crab and noodle sauces, which have been detected to have butter, sugar, and Parmesan cheese.
- Fuki Sushi - I was thoroughly unimpressed with their subpar sushi versus price paid, plus some eye-boringly slow service. Skip this one if you’re in Palo Alto.
- Hong Kong Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant - Oh yes, my favorite dim sum place, but for dinner! This surprised me, since not only are they an amazing dim sum restaurant, but also make some incredible dinner dishes. We had some eggplant and fish in spicy garlic sauce, roasted duck, and wonton dumpling soup. 5stars
