American Idol Season 7: The Top Ten Performances
March 25th, 2008 | by Reid |With only the constraints of signing a song from the year they were born, the top 10 brought their A-game tonight. David Archuleta and David Cook stole the show with amazing performances. Check out David Cook’s performance of Billy Jean. One of the most original of the competition.
Kristy Lee Cook will probably remain for another week with her performance of “God Bless the USA” where it would basically be unpatriotic to not vote for her. Since she’s guaranteed for another week, my bottom three:
- Carly Smithson - “Total Eclipse of my Heart” was performed nervously and awkwardly. *Yawn*
- Brooke White - “Every Breath You Take” - she messed up at the start and it was nothing special.
- Chikezie - “If Only For One Night” - he took a risk and performed a less than stellar ballad. I don’t think he’ll go home, but he’ll be in the bottom.
Ramiele also gave a somewhat forgettable performance at the start of the show. I’m in denial that she’d go home tomorrow, however.
