It’s one of those days.  Running around from class in the morning, work at MLK, lunch at Linx, work at MLK, nap for 30 minutes, and then a dinner at Greg Boardman’s Lake House for Carolyn Wong, libraryage, SRC meeting, and libraryage until 12.  Then work work until sleep sleep.

Carolyn Wong’s party was really nice, especially since I haven’t seen her much this quarter.  She’s going to Carlton College next year so I’ll definitely miss her - she’ll be around this summer so I need to make a point to keep in touch during that time and when she leaves.  A lot of faculty, alumni, and students had great things to say about her; I wish she was staying!  Stupid PoliSci department.

SRC Staff meeting was fun.  We talked about Dorm Theme - ideas were thrown out such as: Summer Research Camp (bad) to SRComics, and a few good ones that I said: Pirates of the SRCs (say it outloud) and the Hogwarts SRC School of Witchcraft (basically a Harry Potter theme).

So I’m not attempting to juggle three large papers at once:
1) Anti-Japanese American violence after Pearl Harbor by Filipino Americans
2) Representations of Native Americans in Wild West Shows
3) The settling of SF Chinatown in the context of Antebellum reform

The first should be easiest, second harder, and third hardest.  It also sucks because I’m doing the best in the first, and so on, so my grades will definitely be indicative of my final paper.  I wish it was the opposite because I’m going to need all the help I can get in my Antebellum America class.
