May 23rd, 2006 | by Reid |Jenny and I were taking the same GSB experiment this afternoon, but unfortunately we were in separate rooms and didn’t get to interact with one another. I distinctly remember doing an experiment last summer where Jenny walks in and ends up being my partner for some employee/employer negotiation. It was hard to keep a straight face when that type of relationship was foisted upon us.
Dinner was at Miyake’s tonight for Amy’s birthday! Initially she seemed game for having sake, but none of the crazy Sake Bombs that the table next to us was doing. But, seeing that it was her 21st birthday, the waiters came out with a good amount of plum wine, made her stand on her chair, turned down the lights, turned on a disco ball, and made her drink four cups worth! Awesome! And contrary to Wuster’s size, she seems to be able to take her alcohol quite well! I’m impressed.
I’m not sure how this week will turn out, since there’s ACT to plan and a lot of work to take care of before the quarter is over. Three finals due on the same day is really scaring me, so it’s making me get my ass in gear to get things down. So there’s three weeks, so perhaps getting as much as I can get done for these final papers in the next two weeks, and then writing like crazy? I have trouble multitasking papers though, since it’s hard to concentrate about one subject/history and then move quickly to the next. At the same time, I’m going to have about 50 books in my room so keeping them all straight is going to be hard. And there’s In-House draw next week! At least that will be exciting! I’ll know who my residents will be very very soon!
