December 21, 2005

I was a homebody today, spending time wrapping Xmas presents and then looking for classes for next quarter.  At this point I might be taking:

Educ 201 – History of Education in the US
History 299H – Junior Honors Colloquium
AsnAmStud 200W – Nikkei Legacy Project
Comp Lit 148 – Introduction to Asian American Cultures
AsnAmStud 184 – Asian American Diasporas

I’m trying to load up on units this quarter (as I always do), so I have less to take Senior Year while I try and write a history thesis.  At this point the workload looks managable, but we’ll see since I’m unsure if taking some of these classes, Educ 201 and Comp Lit 148 means less work than taking it for 5 units.  But, it’s early in the game so I’ll have time to tweak the schedule and such.

I made Chili tonight for dinner.  The great thing about Chili is that you can put in whatever you want and it still turns out fine.  So, I added corn and Spam to the mix for some fine spicy chili.  Next time I’m curious how un-ground beef will taste, since we always put in ground beef.  Ahh the joys of cooking

I watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith again.  Since I’ve already seen the movie, I fast forwarded through some of the annoying dialogue which really sped up the movie.

Tonight I went over to Eric’s – I met his Pomona friend Justin who is quite nice!  We all played Trivial Pursuit and chatted a bit.

Well break seems to be flying on by.  I still haven’t exercised or thought much about school obligations.  Its been relaxing though, which is definitely something I needed after this fall quarter.
