Thanksgiving! Well, I did the front yard this morning and spent the afternoon trying to finish a book review for my Directed Reading with Asian American Studies. Dinner of course was excellent – my Dad deep fries the turkey which makes it crispy and juicy. Along with mashed potatoes, yams, cranberries, cornbread, ham, and green beans, it was a ‘traditional’ Thanksgiving meal. Oh and I also had wine – like an adult! After doing a toast and sipping some wine, Jon commented “OH Reid, your first taste of alcohol, what do you think?!” And my parents laughed. Oh if they only knew…
