Chris, Yang, and Shelley gave interesting talks about their experiences at Stanford during the A3C Speaker Series.  The food came from the truck, which was really great.  Chris talked about his “major” crisis.

Chinese was interesting today – we learned some expressions and even had to perform a dialogue in front of the class.  I did pretty poorly, but I practiced with Harry, Wilmot, Wendy, and Amy when I got back.  I think I am glad I’m taking Chinese instead of Japanese – I have so many opportunities to practice!

Tonight we had our first SIC course meeting.  I was fairly nervous because I still didn’t feel prepared and I was worried nobody would show up.  With the exception of Mark, Yang, and Linda, three others came and they all want to take the course!  So class went well and I like the small setting.

I went jogging when I got back.  Campus Loop again.

Harry, Amy and I flied Manz – I did flyers for the SIC course, Amy and Harry did Webworks.  We went to all of the bathrooms – some were totally gross.  I also visited Raylene and Michelle’s room along the way.  They’re in Lantana 321, the exact opposite room from Castano 321, where I was this summer.

The rest of the night I procrastinated and ate two chicken sandwiches for Jack in the Box.  This 99 cents menu will be the end of me.  I did a little bit of Russian history work…
