I did a whole bunch of scanning for Gordon today.  It was pretty mindless but I learned some things here and there – like racism concerning Asian athletes with headlines on MSNBC such as “American beats Kwan for Gold” – wtf Kwan is an American too.  And how Tiger woods says he’s 90% Thai but people characterize him as black and ignore his “Asian” ancestry.  Do people just not want Asians to be athletes?  I shake my fist at them. 

I did a lot of work on my “four year plan” to graduate with degrees in History and Asian American Studies.  I switched a bunch of classes I had taken for the history major over to Asian American Studies to help count units to get the major.  It’s cool that I’m able to take so many history classes, far and beyond the requirements to graduate with a history degree, and apply those history courses to a degree in Asian American studies, since it’s an interdisiplinary major.  So I’m getting two degrees for taking even more history courses.  Saweet!

So Jenny pulled me away from my computer around 11 to go downstairs where some people were having a “get rid of all your alcohol” party.  We danced for the first time in who knows how long and I unfortunately got back to my computer and spilled some beer on it.  Fuck.  So everytime I pushed the “enter” key it would type Vx and then a return and then / and it would be all messed up.  But, I removed the battery and turned it upside down and hopefully the beer will go away and it will be fine tomorrow.  I guess it justifies me not doing work.  Plus, Justy mentioned that it’s okay to spill alcohol on it – because that’s what you use to clean it.  Guess I’m just giving my keyboard a cleaning, eh?

We went over to Chris’s later.  I showcased my culinary skills with some egg and rice and later, some ramen.  I eat way too much food thought :-\.  We watched a bunch of television, including an infomercial for “The Magic Bullet,” a pretty silly gadget that blends everything you can thing of in 3, 4, 5, and 10 second increments.  But, it only serves about one person so it seems pretty pointless to me.  Anyway, we also watched Leno and Conan which was really funny.  Now it’s 4am and I need to sleep.  Goodnight!  I’m back to the daily updates now.  Woohoo!
