Today was last-minute preparations for Tokyo! I can’t believe I’m going! It’s finally hit me – that bug of excitement and jittery feeling of being nervous and anxious at the same time. I went to Subway with Jenny and then to the bookstore to pick up a notebook and some pens. I returned library books with Jenny, made a reservation with Supershuttle, and printed out last minute directions from Narita to Waseda. We had Quiznos for dinner too.

Tonight Jenny and I went stargazing. I jumped the fence at the Dish to open the gate and we had a great view of the night sky. But, we got so high up that it was still bright from city lights – San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area. We did see a shooting star thought – how purty.

Packing today wasn’t nearly that bad. Laundry definitely made me sneeze thought, if that could be sited as a negative effect of this all. But, it’s 2:12AM now and my Supershuttle comes in less than three hours! EXCITEMENT! I’m really looking forward to this!
