My meeting with Carolyn went well – now I’m almost, almost, almost done! I did lots of errands and tasks to prepare for my trip to Tokyo; returning library books, packing a few suitcases I’m storing at the Roosevelt offices for a few weeks, and doing some final work for my lunch with Gordon tomorrow.
I was an idiot this afternoon – when I went to the ATM I took out $40 but reached for my check card before getting my cash; the cash went back in the machine! So, I get another $40 this time and when I went to look at my online bank statement, I got charged twice! I called their customer service, so things should be sorted out, but it’s kind of annoying to be short $40 in your account.
I watched Bad Boys tonight while packing. Hilarious movie. I think that brings the summer movie count to 34. I also ran campus loop – I even hopped the fence to run a lap around the track – it’s so soft compared to pavement! If only I didn’t have to run in circles there…
I think this is my class schedule for the Fall. I hope I don’t die:
History291 – Maps, Borders, and Conflicts in East Asia
Asnamst 200R – Directed Research [reading the Survey on Race Relations]
History 136A – European Thought and Culture in the 19th Century
CASA 88 – Theories in Race and Ethnicity
PoliSci 20SI – Asian American History and Issues
Another 20 unit quarter. Fuzzy style.
20 units? Crazy! 34 movies? Even crazier!
hmm…you were there for 34 of them!
