July 26, 2005

After some work in the morning and a nice lunch with Harry (bees seem to be really attracted to my chicken caesar salad), I met with Carolyn to talk about the SAAAC SIC course. We had a really productive meeting and I’m excited where we’re taking the class – things like exposing people to Leland Stanford’s connection with Chinese immigrants and laborers at the university, the history of Asian Americans at Stanford, and the Asian American movement will be really cool. I spent the rest of the afternoon compiling all of the newspaper articles I’ve printed out. I have almost 200! gg

I had a hectic evening. After some time at the gym, I went jogging with Harry and his bro. Ken and I did a fun sort of route down Junipero Serra to Campus Loop to the Quad at night and back to Salvatierra – 4 miles I think. Running that much seems to get easier and easier. That’s what you call progress. I finished up my work around 1am and then became OCD and prepared all of the things I need tomorrow so I could wake up and be out the door in 5 minutes.
