Jenny and I struggled to find stuff to do today. After brunch I honestly rolled around on the bed to keep myself amused. We eventually settled on a trivia game online, which we did fairly well in until the later rounds when we had to answer harder questions to get the necessary points to advance to the next round. I was pleasantly surprised with my knowledge of “history” – but of course the questions were the typical Anglo-centric ones that I guess comprise “history.” After Steph brought us to Palo Alto train station to pick up our bikes, Jenny and I went to Walgreens, then to Q-Cup for some boba. She picked up Felicity on the way back and we watched a few episodes. Not too impressive.
We later went out to eat dinner with some SAAAC folks + Carolyn. We went to Hunan Chili for some spicy Chinese food – really good and it was nice to see everybody. People mentioned the whole xanga thing – and how I update everyday. Kind of interesting to know who reads this although they don’t comment. I guess it’s because I write my happenings on a day-by-day basis and that’s not incredibly exciting. I used to have a lot of thoughts in these posts, but maybe I’ve settled into sort of a routine. Or maybe it’s because I don’t want to share certain things anymore haha. And, perhaps it’s because I’ve transitioned into college a lot more than when I first came to Stanford, so there’s not many surprises. I guess that makes sense. Maybe I’m just searching for excuses. Anyway, pictures from SF:
lol
yeah, same thing kind of going on with my xanga too
btw, las vegas sounded awesome, we should talk about it sometime
