Santa Cruz! Jenny and I headed down to the beach boardwalk with her old SRC roommate Stephanie, along with Whitney and David, two other SRC’ers who provided interesting conversation for the hour drive. The boardwalk is quite nice, small and crowded though. We walked around, got burritos at a Mexican restaurant and ate it on the beach overlooking the ocean. The good life. We walked the boardwalk and went on a ride called “The Fireball,” which spins and goes back and forth like a pendulum. Ohhh it made me dizzy - the worst was setting the ocean to my left horizontally. And after that, we indulged on a funnel cake with chocolate syrup, strawberries, and powdered sugar. By the time we finished that beast it was time to go. I fell asleep on the ride home, of course.
Tonight I went over to Kevin and Lindsey’s apartment. We had Olive Garden food and chilled with a bunch of old Cedro folks. Q, Quinn, Yoshi, Naman, Kai, Harry, Chris, Eric, Peter…it was a good crowd and we talked about a bunch of interesting things. The English majors kept on bringing up these esoteric books haha…something about post-modernism. I went home around 12 with Harry. The end.

I’m surprised that ride+funnel cake didn’t=throwing up lol…it sounds yum though
