I thoroughly enjoyed Sunday! It did start off with too much anticipation with Treehouse nachos, but eating the rest of Jenny’s subway sandwich made me feel better. We rode over to the shopping center and looked around to get a gift for Jenny’s old SRC roommate, Stephanie. We found a nice shirt at Express (of course) and then sipped on a refreshing smoothie while people-watching. There were a lot of high-school summer students there - so young and innocent. Pssh.
We then proceeded to watch “Almost Famous,” a delightful coming of age story of a young man who loves rock and roll. I laughed. We then rode over to California Avenue to look for food, but couldn’t find anything good - so many places were closed; Stanford is not a college-town. But, Peking Duck was open so we munched on some crispy duck and “sizzling beef filet on an iron platter.” I did some work after that then watched “Kill Bill 2.”
