I thought I slept in but I really woke up at 9am. Uncle Larry was there and he made some really good hash browns, eggs, and fried rice. The abbreviated version of the rest of the day included going to Ala Moana beach with my sister. I jogged around the park before my Mom picked us up to go eat lunch with Uncle Mal. We then went to Waiola shave ice, then to Punchbowl Cemetary to visit my paternal grandparents grave. We then went to another cemetary to visit my maternal great-grandparents’ grave. Afterwards, we went to Kmart (where they didn’t have Boggle), hung around home, and then to Toys ‘R Us where they didn’t have Boggle. I eventually ordered the damn thing online. For dinner we had chicken and corned beef with cabbage and a chocolate haipia pie.
I watched 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag (really poor movie but a few laughs here and there) before going bowling with my Uncle, Jillian, and sister. We bowled three games and I hit 127 at the end. My uncle bowled a freakin’ 208. So good! If I only got to practice more than once a year…Later my aunt and uncle played poker with my sister and me. I lost, but I knocked out my sister. Oh well, I’m $5 poorer. ‘Tis the day.
