Yet another crazy day with little sleep.  I woke up around 9ish to work on Roosevelt letters before heading out to 4 Safeway’s, CPK, and Trader Joe’s with Adele.  The Safeway’s were really dumb and nobody approved us like they said they would because the manager they said would be there wasn’t there.  It was looking like a really crappy day until we reached Trader Joe’s, which gave us $80 worth of free food.  This amounted to 30 bottles of ice tea, five boxes of crackers, 4 blocks of brie, 2 boxes of 30 small desserts, and 10 boxes of small cakes laced with alcohol.

Adele said the small cakes were really good (and being $0.99 we got 10).  However, the cashier asked for our ID’s at the checkout – I was assuming he was asking because we were getting the food free, but then he was like, umm…you’re not 21.  I was like, why?  He said the cakes all had alochol in them – so he asked Adele if she was 21.  She was like “Oh my gosh, I forgot my ID at home, but my birthday is….February 23, 1983!”  The guy looked at her and was like “Hmmmmmmmm….well….okay.”

Stupid cakes – they have hardly any alochol in them.  But, whatever.  We got it all and that was good stuff.

So after that it was basically time to go to dinner with my family and Harry.  We went to Todai and had gotten there early so we walked around the mall, which was basically dying – the whole bottom floor was basically closed.  Dinner itself was incredible – so much food and so much sushi.  I think I ate 25+ pieces.  Woe is me.

That basically put me in a food coma so I HAD to take a nap before starting work.  I worked a bit on PWR 2 and a bit on South Africa reading before heading out.  Went to Toyon and then to 680 with Chris Walker’s PASU friends.  It was a pretty lame party, simply because it was just a bunch of people standing around drinking and I pretty much became another person doing that.  I also had to walk back in the rain.
