January 29, 2005

Another long day, but quite momentary fun.  I biked over to “The Haircut” at Stanford Shopping Center where I got a cheap haircut that looks okay.  I then went to Green and read a bunch for my Asian American in Politics Class.  That took all afternoon, and by early evening I had read for that class plus a long article for my Tokyo class.  I still have a ton of work to do – I hope I can do it all.

This evening I had the honor of going to Verde Tea Cafe with Anna, Amy, Wendy, and Mary.  I had Taiwan Strawberry Jam Toast – basically a thick piece of toast that was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with jam on it – quite good.  I also had a Lychee slush that was pretty good, but I still like St. Louis Bubble Tea the best.

I caught a bit of Singin’ in the Rain when I got back (Harry and Mariana were watching it) and talked a bit with Pagie and Eric (who was being hilarious) online.  Alex and Chris stopped by later and we chatted until 4:40.  Good times.
