I got up again at noon and spent my day at home, reading Digital Fortress. It’s a captivating book, although I find that Dan Brown employs the same type of characters, writing, and plot in all of his books. It’s definitely interesting subject matter, and the interesting factoids in the book keep me reading. I also went to the library where I picked up a two books and two DVDs, headed to the Post Office to mail off a game, and then to Famous-Barr. I purchases a cologne called Echo, which I thought smelled really nice and fresh. The lady who helped me was really nice, giving me samples of all different colognes and then throwing in a bunch of free samples after my purchase along with this random duffel bag. Kind of cool for buying a bottle of scented water. Haha
My Mom didn’t want me to be a potato around the house, so she made me come to Tillis park with her. She walked around the park while I jogged, which was some good exercise. I realized that my cardiovascular capacity has decreased a lot during the summer…too much apathy.
After dinner it was back to WUSTL again. I saw Rob Collins, a former B3 RA and totally awesome guy. Andrea and I, along with a bunch of other people, headed over to a party at Greenway. It was really dead at first, and we doubled the number of people there, but by the end of the night, a lot of people had shown up. It was fun to be there, with a bunch of people I didn’t know and others that I vaguely knew. We later headed back to Bear’s Den, and then back to Andrea’s room for more socializing.
Back at home I read more of Digital Fortress before falling asleep.
funness!…umm
more socializing=being lumps on the couch cause we ate too much at BD
Digital Fortress is fun, but not as good as Angels and Demons or The DaVinci Code by any means :)
food coma!
