My Mom woke me up early because Krista had called. She couldn’t work her 9:45-3pm shift, so I called her back and agreed to cover her shift. That meant I had to get up early and after my bowl of energizing Wheaties, I dressed and went to work. Since it was a morning shift, it was really slow. From 10-11am, we made no sales and for the rest of the day, there were less than 100 men who checked out the men’s side. That really contrasted with the women’s side, which included a $1000+ sale by a Mom and her daughter in her 20′s. That sale was insane – they bought 10+ pants and 10+ tops. Now that’s shopping.
To keep busy, I steamed a bunch of shirts, folded about 30 polo shirts since Jeff wanted to take away that sale rack, and helped Ryan dress five mannequins. That took up a lot of time. When it came near to 3PM, I decided not to ask to leave but stay around for Aaron to come in and leave when he was there so we could transition to a new person without leaving the Men’s side empty. He didn’t show up by 3:15, but Andrea did since she was done working, so I clocked out.
At home, I picked up weeds around the outside of my house for my mom, and then took a long nap until 7. I ate fajitas for dinner, and watched the Cardinal’s game. We won :-). Andrea came over and we watched some Iron Chef with the secret ingredient of duck! Paige and Eric also came over, and we played some DDR and chatted. Then, online in my room to talk about maybe going to Chicago. A three star hotel is $174 a night on priceline.com, so that’s not too thrilling. Andrea and I talked briefly about a float trip. Ahhh, I just want to do something!
$1000+ inONE sale????!?!? YIKES!?!?!
finally a pic of you playing DDR. For some reason that brings closure to my life and makes me want to play DDR. hmm..
Finally a pic of you playing DDR. I finally feel like there is closure in my life and I feel like playing DDR
Haha, I can totally imagine you waking up every morning and eating Wheaties.
