I woke up around 12:30.  Shame on me, but I really wasn’t up to much besides work and hanging out so I didn’t feel terribly unproductive or anything.  I mean, it’s summer and I guess this is part of it – sleeping in and not stressing yourself out.  I stopped by the post office at the Galleria to mail off a CD and a book before work.  Since I passed by Z Gallerie, I went in to say hi to Xopher.  He was helping a lady, so I just waved to him and then headed to Express.  Work was really chill today.  Dwight, Jeff, and Holly were CSL’s during the time I was there, 2-7, and they’re my favorite managers.  I’m able to joke around with them, so that makes work fun and it makes the time pass quickly.  I did alright on sales – my biggest accomplishment was adding on a $50 shirt for a guy I helped find pants for.  I also straightened all of the 1MX shirts and made the front of the store look nice.  A guy named Brendan came in to pay his Express credit card – it was a funny conversation because I knew him from Janie and Jack where Andrea works, so I asked him about that, and he gave me this confused kind of ‘are you a stalker?’ look, but then immedietely got it when I told him I go out with Andrea. The time went by pretty quickly, and I headed home and made myself dinner – a teriyaki burger.  I watered my Mom’s orchids and then headed to Jey’s house.

We had a quartet rehearsal because we’re playing some new pieces for a wedding on Saturday.  The rehearsal was fun and it helped me get more comfortable playing the cello again.  We also played Beatles music which was a lot of fun.  We then headed to Ted Drewes, where we saw tons of Ladue people – Dima, Cole, Amanda, Ben, Abra, Rebecca, Carter, Es, Rachel, Amy, Shelly, and Erich.  The custard was good as always, but of course, it made my tummy hurt.  It was so hot and sticky outside!  We then headed back to Jey’s house and talked for a bit.  Then, home, to talk online and clean up my room.
