I almost wasted away my entire day sleeping. I woke up around 12:30, and decided to put myself through the pain of watching the IHUM movie at Green, since I couldn’t go the screening later tonight because of work. I fell asleep during the middle of the movie Puyachev, which was an alright movie. The funniest part was the subtitled lines where an army soldier is showing a female his machine gun. She asks “Are you a machine-gunner,” and he smiles and says “I can be anything you like.” Crazy Russians.
I spent the rest of the day procrastinating and researching flamenco for my Spanish essay. I then went to the dining hall and worked. I worked the cashier the entire night – it was pretty crazy pushing all the buttons and trying to check people out quickly and efficiently. Initially I was lost on where a lot of the buttons were for specific items, but by the end of the night I was doing alright. Either way, people don’t complain if I happen to undercharge them, it’s only when I overcharge that they would get upset. I only overcharged someone once for Sushi, but by 65 cents. She still cared, so I had her fill out a form requesting a refund. That was my bad. Tomorrow I work on the side of the cafeteria where everyone I knows eats. That should be interesting.
Rest of the night: spanish, a little foosball, and a lot of procrastination. I decided to play CS for a little bit (bad idea). However, I ended up going 80-50, which was pretty sweet. Finally at 2:30AM I am done.
