March 26, 2004

I feel like giving a summary of my day would be boring – I watched TV, watched NCAA basketball, went to Wash U., hung around Borders, then White Castle, and then back to Beau 3.

I’m torn between two “fourth” courses to take next quarter: Intro to Asian American Culture and Jews in the Modern World. Both are five units. The Asian American Culture course fulfills two GER’s at once but meets for 1.5 hours twice a week, while Jews in the Modern World fulfills one GER and meets 50 minutes twice a week. Both had rave reviews on Courseguide. On one hand the idea of fulfilling two GER’s at once sounds very appealing, but it sounds like I’ll be covering a lot of things I learned in my last Asian American history course, while Jews in the Modern World would be new material. I guess I’m going to shop both classes, check out the reading lists and workload, and go from there.

Just one more day here in St. Louis – I better make the best of it!
