February 24, 2004

I woke up this morning feel significantly better.  I guess that’s what getting sleep does for you.  Spanish wasn’t anything exciting.  We have to perform a skit for our final portfolio project, which really sucks, because it’s a lot of work outside of class.  I went to Meyer library to ask about renting about a videocamera, but alas, they don’t rent that stuff out, so we’re going to have to find a friend who has a camera.  It should all come together eventualy.

Work today wasn’t anything exciting.  I got a free boxed lunch (a chicken sandwich and chips and a cookie), which I took back to Cedro.  I ate that during Cedro on Cedro.  Immanuel Buder, Uri Manzo, and Annie Ta were on today, it they each had different stories, all of which were really interesting.  Immanuel was born in Austria, although he doesn’t remember that.  He lived in Virginia all his life and was also a member of the United States Physics Olympiad team, which got first place in the world.  Uri was born in Mexico City and was a cancer survivor and graduated second in his class.  Annie grew up in Orange County and played basketball and was the President of Key Club.  That was interesting.

The rest of the night I read Brother’s Karamazov and did my laundry.  Andrea was having issues with her “admirer” so I sent him an e-mail.  We’ll see what happens with that.  Time for sleep.

My name is Reid.  I have heard some disconcerting news; specifically, that you have taken an interest in Andrea Ginsburg.  While this may or not be a plutonic interest, I must warn you, I am her boyfriend, so please stop following her around and making her feel uncomfortable.  I want you to understand that I hold you in the highest regard, for Wash U. students are some of the brightest in the country, however I must lay down the law when it comes to you and my girlfriend.  Please leave her alone.  Thank you, and good luck with your studies.
