Final score of the Harvard vs. Stanford men’s basketball game. Stanford, 100, Harvard 59. Booya. And my sister, when I mentioned that our college teams were playing each other, responded: “Harvard has a basketball team.’ In fact, Harvard has the most varsity atheletic teams in the country. Obviously, quantity over quality. Booya.
Woke up and went to some dim sum at Lulu’s. I definitely ate too much, buy all of the dumplings and angel hair noodles are just too tempting. Went home and tried to relearn the cello. After running out of time with that, I went to Eric’s old house, where Beth, Andrea, Eric, and I rehearsed quartet music. We were playing at the Tang’s holiday housewarming party, since they had moved into a house a few miles south of their previous one.
Between the rehearsal and the party, we went to the Galleria. Andrea got a purse. Two, actually. So yeah.
The party itself was awesome. Lots of parents and stuff, but us ‘young adults” got to hang out. We played well, and it was fun. I was still pretty rusty, but everyone was talking loudly so I doubt they could hear all the mistakes. I ate lots of food. There were about 10 different cakes at the new house, and I felt like such a pig after eating a lot. I gotta work out, especially after two nights of huge meals.
Watched Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring after that with Andrea and Beth. I caught more foreshadowing for the future movies in it (I mean, I read the books, so I knew what was going to happen, but you know what I mean.) Now, I’m just talking online as usually, enjoying the simple life. Rock on.
