November 26, 2003

Finally, I’m going home! I woke up at 8:20, showered, finished packing, and headed to the Margerite bus stop. I took Line A to the Palo Alto Train Station, where I caught the CalTrain, which took my south to the Santa Clara Train Station. There, I took the Airport Flyer, route 10 bus to the San Jose Airport. Those three transfers took about 1.5 hours, for a total cost of $3. I guess that was worth it, compared to paying $17 for shuttle to the airport, especially when I wasn’t checking any luggage on the plane.

So the flight was alright. At least the part I stayed awake for. I slept most of the way to Minneapolis. There, I met my sister, who had flown in from Boston, and we took another flight down to St. Louis. My mom met us outside of security. That was sweet. It was nice to see my parents again.

After arriving home and taking a shower to refreshen up, my mom asks “So when are you going to go see Andrea?” I reply, “Sometime later tonight,” to which she replies, “Oh, just go see her now!”

Elated, that’s what I did. After an absense of my girlfriend since September 16, 2003, I finally got to see her! One of the greatest days of my life.

Kinda depressing that I’m the only person loser enough to continue to update through thanksgiving weekend. I will catch ya tomorr… wait later today. Stupid pulling an all nighter without noticing. I hate it when that happens.
