Happy Halloween! Of course, that didn’t mean much for me, since I didn’t get dressed up or anything. Chemistry was a little bit interesting. With five minute left in the lecture, Professor Waymouth passed off the chalk he was using to Professor Boxer, signifying that he was done teaching us for the course, and Professor Boxer would teach us the rest of the material in Chemistry 31. Professor Waymouth was a very good lecturer, so I’ll miss that.
Math lecture was pretty boring. I only counted 30 people there, most likely because it was Friday and Halloween. After the lecture I rushed back to my dormroom, changed into workout clothes, and biked over quickly to the Graduate School of Business to take another survey for money. This time it was a survey on multitasking. All I had to do was make choices about which product I would want to buy while I did math problems in between choices. I had to think to solve the math problems, but after 25 minutes I had made $7.00. That was prety sweet.
I then went over to Tresidder Fitness to workout. Afterwards, I checked the post office, hoping that the webcamera I had ordered had come. It still hasn’t! I hope it’s there tomorrow.
Dinner was interesting, because the dining staff put on a Halloween dinner. There were things like “Mummy Meat” (aka roast beef) but I just had chicken fingers. That evening I hung out and played some ping-pong. Jon, Mickey, Phoebe, and I played a game of Hearts to pass the time. It was Phoebe’s first time, and Mickey shot the moon. Chalmers, Phoebe, Mary, and I all hung out in Mary’s room for a majority of the evening. Phoebe had some Smirnoff Ice to drink, well, three bottles actually, and yes, I tried some. It was actually pretty good, contrary to the taste of Budwesier or beer like that. Well, that was that.
We all headed over the Burbank because that’s where Harry was. We watched Pulp Fiction for a little bit, and then walked back. That was about it.
By the way, I found out that Chalmers got into Stanford off the waiting list! I’m really excited that I met someone else who also got in off of it. Apparently there’s a girl in his IHUM section who also got in the same way. So that makes three total.
Yeah being mentioned 4 times!! Haha. Thanks for telling the whole world about my smirnoff…it really didn’t do much though, really. Too bad we didn’t get to hit any of the parties, it was still an ok night though. Wish I didn’t have an econ midterm on monday, ugh. Anyway, better hit the sack, seeya!
you know she was out of it… u know it… hehe… it’s good meeting other wait list ppl isn’t it
parties suck and smirnoff ice isn’t bad

i kno someone else who got in off the waiting list… this guy named Bill Hart from SF… =)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
maybe i’ll meet you in person one day ;)
