November 23, 2003

Woke up at 9:15AM?  Why?  We were supposed to be participating in an Ultimate Frisbee tournament that morning.  However, after putting in contacts and eating a poptart, and went downstairs, finding only Kendall and Megan, and nobody else.  We waited for 5 minutes, decided that nobody was going to come, and called off playing.  It sucks that I haven’t been able to play any ultimate games – I blame poor organization.  Oh well.  I did get to sleep more.

The rest of the day was nothing very productive.  I did get around to reading the assigned Supreme Court cases for IHUM, but I spent most of the day relaxing, playing some Halo, and hanging out with friends.  Harry and I made an effort to study in the Bender room at Green.  However, the chairs there are so comfy, that I ended up taking a nap, but still did the reading.

But, I didn’t let the day go to waste.  I worked out from 9:30-10:30, so I felt good about that.  I even jogged down to the gym.  To be honest, the rest of my evening was spent in front of my computer, talking with Andrea through webcam.  We’re now keeping track of how many hours it will be until we see each other.  I guess this would be a “dorkish” thing to do, but I think it’s cute.  It’s really all I can think about right now – I’m definitely glad I don’t have any work due this week.

All in all, it was a pretty quiet day.  I did the stuff I needed to do, although maybe I could be studying for finals and stuff.  I know that I need to do it, but I don’t feel a sense of urgency just yet.  Currently, I just want to relax and not worry about that stuff.  I’ll worry about it on the plane to and from St. Louis.  Other than that, my time in St. Louis will be spent doing better things than studying!
