I am currently typing on my new wireless keyboard that Mickey sold to me for a mere $18.It’s not the best keyboard in the world. In fact, if I were to type on my lap, the signal to the receiver about two feet away wouldn’t be that good at all.I guess what’s nice about it is the volume control and ability to open up various applications with the keys on the top of the keyboard. We’ll see how long this keyboard lasts.Math section and IHUM section weren’t anything exciting.I hardly talked in IHUM section, but that was basically because I kept fading in and out of the discussion.I played a lot of Halo this afternoon, and evening for the matter.I was productive though, reading the end of Rousseau’s Social Contract in the library and going to the BioEthics lecture on the Human Genome Project.A scientist from the Stanford Medical School came to speak, and he was mildly interesting.I actually printed up a list of all the acceptable three letter Scrabble words and memorized those while he was talking.I also missed the first 30 minutes of the lecture because I fell asleep. His speech was more informative of the Human Genome project, not really touching the ethical issues of the human genome – genetic privacy, the right to know succeptibility to a disease, and about genetic discrimination.By the end of the lecture, people were walking out in a somewhat constant stream during the question period.I felt kind of bad for the guy, especially because he is a really smart man.Well, I have a 10AM IHUM lecture, so I’m going to be heading to bed.
