So the RA’s and all other dorm staff ran around at 7AM waking us up to get us pumped for our first day of classes.  I stumbled out of bed and we all met downstairs in the common room, where they took a picture of all of us, tired and sleepy and not ready for classes.  I then went back to bed and awoke around 9:30 to head to my IHUM class.  The professor there spoke with a cool German accent, and sounds like he’s a genius.  I sat next to a girl who was from Morocco, which I thought was cool.  I then went to Chemistry 31, where things seemed to be good – we went over some of the Atomic Theory, which was a good refresher.  I then headed back to the dorm for lunch, and then back to Math 42, where we learned a lot of formulas, and yes, I did doze off.  Kinda sad for my first day of classes….  I went to Tressidder Fitness to work out with some friends.  I realized how much I need to lift before I get in decent shape again.  It’s nice that going to the gym is free.  That will make me want to fill up free time by working out.  That night Okada was having a BBQ out at Wilbur Field, but there were so many people in line for a hot dog, that by the time it was my turn to get a hot dog, they were out!  That sucked.  That night I did some reading and hung out with some people.  We had a house meeting that night, and after the house meeting, we got rushed by almost all the Sophomores who lived in Cedro last year.  That was really cool – the guy who lived in the same spot as me was named Warren and he seemed pretty cool.  So it was noisy until around 12, so me, Phoebe, and Harry played Scrabble.  Phoebe won, so I’m happy that they are getting the hang of the game.  I don’t have class until 1:05 tomorrow, which is really sweet.  I plan to get my bike fixed in the morning though, and review my IHUM reading between my math and IHUM discussion.  And, tomorrow night we are going to play Junipero in Capture the Flag, in the stacks of the library!  That’s going to be insanely fun!  Yay!!  Stanford absolutely rocks!
